“Dina is an exceptional coach and mentor. I highly recommend her. For 11 months, directly and remotely, she helped me get ready for my first full distance Ironman Triathlon. During this time period, she deftly adapted my workout plan to cater to my ever changing work schedule and routinely held meetings with me which helped me stay within the process.

The Ironman course I completed at Lake Placid, NY is one of the tougher courses in the Ironman race catalogue due to its hilly bike course and the unpredictable weather. Dina developed great race strategies months before the race so I can physically and mentally prepare for the grueling conditions ahead. The weather on race day was very uncooperative with high temperatures during the afternoon and strong headwinds during the bike course. Because of the long-term gameplan she created for me, I was able to adapt to the factors out of my control, finish the bike ahead of time, and complete the marathon leg with time to spare!

"I contacted Dina because I was having difficulty recovering from swimming and weight workouts while also trying to build muscle.

Dina analyzed my plant-based diet. She detected a shortfall in my protein intake and made numerous suggestions for snacks and other foods to increase my protein intake.

Within two weeks, I started to feel better and saw a reduction in my waist and improvement in my muscle tone.

Dina also reviewed my weightlifting and core exercise routines. She made several excellent suggestions to vary the workouts and attack the muscle groups with different exercises. She provided very helpful information on technique as well.

“'Why don’t I have enough energy for life?' - This thought often popped into my mind as I entered into a new decade, my sixties. It didn’t help this phase of life coincided with the COVID years of isolation and a real reduction in physical activity. After the COVID isolation lifted, I was left with a real reduction in my stamina. Totally depressing.

In parallel, I had been following Dina’s athletic journey and her growing coaching business, and was very impressed with her journey and athleticism. Even though my running days are long behind me, I was interested in having more energy for life events, the daily 5-mile walks I’d become fond of, and evening classes. I wanted more energy to do the things I enjoyed and be able to take on more physical activity.

Dina and I worked together for a few months on changing two things: my daily nutritional intake and my old 'diet' mindset. Both of these old patterns resulted in not enough calories to have the energy to last the day and enjoy all of my life activities. We replaced old thoughts and patterns with a new mantra - 'food for life' - and worked on daily food plans to increase my caloric intake and add more protein to sustain my energy into the evenings.

Dina had great nutritional ideas and patterns that I’ve put into place and still use today. Dina was such a joy to work with and easily worked around my gluten free, dairy free preferences, and deeply rooted bad habits.

Thanks to Dina, if I ever find I’m low in energy for the evenings, I ask myself, 'Have I eaten enough for life today?'

"I can’t recommend Dina enough. She has been coaching me for almost a year now and I have no plans on leaving.
